How the Program Actually Runs

How It Works

Four steps, no surprises. Here's exactly how an order moves from your client's first "can you do neon sign?" to a finished sign on their wall.

You never deal with the factory. We're your U.S.-based point of contact, every step of the way.

Step 1: Customer asks for neon

They send you a logo, a sketch, or a reference photo from Instagram. You don't need to know anything about neon production to quote the job just take the brief the way you'd take any other signage request from a walk-in client.

Step 2: You send it to us

Forward the files and specs through your partner portal or straight to your account manager. We send back a free mockup and wholesale quote within 24 hours: not "within 1–2 business days, excluding weekends, subject to queue."

Step 3: You approve and collect payment

Mark up our wholesale price to whatever retail number works for your market, present the mockup to your client as your own work, and bill them directly. You own the invoice, the margin, and the client relationship.

Step 4: We build and ship white-label

Once your client approves and pays, we start production. The finished sign ships blind (neutral packaging, no Neon Designs branding) directly to your shop or to your client's door with tracking and warranty paperwork. You hand it off and close the project.

What's the minimum order to join the program?

There's no minimum to apply or stay active. We've onboarded shops that run one or two neon orders a month, and we've onboarded shops that run twenty. What matters is business fit (you sell to real clients, not reselling platforms) and that your volume is steady enough for us to forecast production. Tier pricing kicks in at the first order and scales from there.

What are your turnaround times?

Standard production is 7–14 business days from design approval to shipment, depending on size and complexity. Rush production is available for orders that need to move faster. We'll quote it transparently when you request it, not after the order is already placed. Shipping transit is separate and depends on destination (usually 2–5 business days within the U.S.).

How does the 2-year warranty actually work?

Every sign carries a full 2-year warranty on the LED components, power supply, and workmanship. If something fails during normal use, report it to your account manager with photos, and we usually ship a replacement within the same production cycle. You never pay for the replacement, you never deal with the factory, and your client never has to know there was a problem in the first place. That last part is the whole point.

How does white-label shipping actually work?

Every shipment leaves our facility in neutral packaging with no Neon Designs branding. No pack-in cards, no return address giveaway, no invoice from us inside the box. You can have the sign shipped to your shop (for installation or inspection before delivery) or drop-shipped directly to your client's door with tracking and a plain packing slip. Both options are free. Both are available on every order, including first orders.

Can my clients use their own designs?

Yes, and most of them will. Send us the artwork in any reasonable vector format (AI, EPS, SVG, or high-res PDF), and we'll handle the conversion to production-ready neon layout. If your client only has a raster logo or a rough sketch on a napkin, our design team can rework it into neon-ready form. That's included in the program, not billed as an extra revision.

How does trade credit work?

Prepaid trade credit is an optional program in which you load your account with a fixed amount in advance and receive a bonus margin on every order until the credit runs out. It's designed for partners who run consistent monthly volume and want to lock in better effective pricing without negotiating every time. Minimums and bonus percentages are tier-based. Your account manager will walk you through the numbers if it makes sense for your volume.

Who qualifies for a free display sign?

Partners who cross a minimum monthly order threshold (your account manager will confirm the exact number during onboarding) earn a free display sign for their showroom or shop. You pick the design, we build it, and it ships free. The logic is simple: partners who can show a real neon sign to walk-in customers close significantly more neon sales, and we'd rather invest in that than in paid ads.

Do I need to sign a contract or commit to a term?

No long-term contract and no exclusivity required. You can work with other suppliers, pause the program, or leave at any time. The program should earn your business every quarter, not lock you into a year because legal said so.
